I hope you are enjoying your Saturday. It's dull and overcast here today, a good day to curl up with a book or some stamps. I got up early and had a lovely breakfast and my Latte. Can't get started without one.!!
Yesterday's post was a picture frame, and now I am looking at it and thinking, Humm this would work with a baby picture. Yes it would, especially a pink one. My DD is pretty sure she is expecting a little girl. So I will be working on that one in a little while.
Today's offering is not a card or any of the usual suspects but Business cards. I need to have them in my pocket at all times and every so often I do a pile of them. I try to make them fun. What's the point of doing this craft if I can't make them personal.?? Right?
So here you go. - (and of course I have to use a retiring stamp set to go with this month's theme) The set I used is one that I am sorry to see go. It was introduced in the catalog last year and I really find the whimsical look is something that SU doesn't have much of. (Not a criticism just an observation)
"Not so Seriously"
Is she not an absolute Hoot! Love this look! I used Melon Mambo, Blush Blossom, Crumb Cake and Basic Black markers. This is a lot of coloring but since I like to color and find it very relaxing, no problems. When doing so many I can sit for hours with my hubby and watch TV (well really listen to it) and that way he feels like I am spending time with him. It works! hahaha
Here's the whole gang! I used various markers in contrasting colors but stayed with the Crumb Cake for the hair. Can't wait to see people's faces when I give these ones out :O)!
Back tomorrow with more retired stamp sets! Have a great day! Brightly colored call me hugs!
Great idea!!! I'm a fairly new demonstrator and love to see ideas for projects that can be used to promote my new business! TFS!
