Ribbon Flower Video

Good Afternoon Crafty Ones!

I have been missing in action for the last couple of days but there is a good reason.  I was out of town on Saturday and on Sunday I wanted to spend some quality time with DH.  Monday dawned with a lovely nasty day with blowing snow and what not, so I said to myself "Self, what are we going to do today?"  And do you know that Self wanted to do?  Make a movie.

So I made a video tutorial showing how to make a Ribbon Flower. Then of course, because I haven't done one of these in ages, it took WAAAAAY longer than I had anticipated.  But it is done warts and all.  In one place I sound like I have a mouth full of marbles.  lol.  Oh well enjoy it and please don't laugh too much Ok?

Here is the picture of the card I made using the flower.

And here is your video.

Well that's it for today everyone, because I have the ladies coming tonight for a session and I have to clean house.  Not going to be easy without water.  They have had the water cut off since early this morning.  But I was prepared so not too bad.

Flowery Hugs!

A Tisket a Tasket - a Build a Blossoms Basket!

Well Ladies I have missed the deadline for mail out for today's post but at least you can look at my new video on how to Build a Blossom Basket now or wait for it in you e-mail tomorrow. lol  The video took much longer to upload than I had hoped.  I don't know if it is my connection of the length of this video.  But done is done.!!  Now have yourself a good laugh by watching it and apparently the silly movie saved the wrong intro cause it starts over twice.   I just can't go back and edit this now I just don't have the time.  Please forgive me for the mistakes....

So Ladies here it is in all it's glory.   I apologize for the music in the background,  I forgot to turn off the radio upstairs.  I like to work to music,  I get a lot more done than I do with the TV on.  I have a guest stamper for tomorrow but I will be taking the Easter weekend off from posting as I am going to have company for Easter Sunday dinner and need to get some cooking/baking done.  Blossoming Hugs!

A new video for you!

Good day everyone!  Another sunny day here in Ottawa,  the sun has been out every day since I got here Mar. 22nd.  I am loving the difference and soaking up the sun.  Won't have a tan though cause is it bloody cold lol, can't have everything right?

Today's video is an instructional video and covers the weighty matter of How to Re-ink a Stampin Pad.  Since some of you have been with me for several years I'm sure that some of your ink pads are getting a little dry, especially the ones that you use the most.  I don't know if this is the "RIGHT" way but it is the way I find the most efficient.

Well that's it for today and until I come back.  I have to go and take the mutt out for a walk before he drives me crazy with his whining!  Boy for a dog he has quite a repertoire of language skills. haha.  Chat with you soon.  Sun soaked hugs!

We've done it!!

Good day everyone!  It's early  morning here in Toronto and Carrie and I are gearing up for another day of power shopping.  Shopping update - one beautiful wedding gown (no pic's allowed by order of the bride) one really nice dress for me (which of course will have to be altered but will match the colors of the wedding so well it's crazy)  lots of decoration items for the tables and a couple of fabulous meals out.  Last night I took out my children for a wonderful supper at Montana's.  The waiter was so much fun and I know that he was hoping for a great tip (which he got btw)   I laughed the whole way through supper.  (the extra caffine from the drinks may have helped)  But enough about me!

I have a new video for you.  How to fix an ink pad!  It's just a short video but it may help some of you in the future if you ever get into the same situation that I did.  So here it is -

That's it from me from Sunny Toronto.  (gosh I sound like I am working in a TV program "Back to you Bob" )  We are heading out on a shoe hunt.  I feel like Carrie on Sex in the City!  I am not too sure if we feel confident enough to try downtown Toronto but will let you know on Monday!  Big City hugs!!!

I think I have it!

Good day everyone!  I have spent the better part of three days trying to get this video done.  It took me quite awhile to edit it and even then I'm not quite satisfied.  But I am getting the hang of it.  I also figured out the format so it uploaded to You Tube.  So with that being said I am going to post it anyway.  Finished or not.  The next one will go smoother (I hope :O)  This will be a regular segment on my blog called "Proud or our Products!"  So look at the video and try not to judge too harshly. lol  I am probably my worst critic.  I almost sound Aussie " Good day mates!"  hahaha. But I am having fun so I guess that counts for something right?

Don't forget everyone only a couple of weeks left of Sale A Bration.  So if you are considering an order now is the time.  Until the end of March for every 60.00 you spend you get a free product from the SAB catalog.

I have seen the new preview for the April promo and it is FINE!  I am ordering the pre-order and should have something for you as soon as it arrives.  (Just going to make you crazy waiting!)

Well if I don't say so long for now this won't get to you today.  So chat with you later.  Movie Star hugs!

Shimmer Paint video and Number one!

Good day everyone! Today's post is a new video showing how to make your own shimmer spray. I have had quite a few ladies ask me how to do it and what I used so I thought a video might be the ticket. Shimmer Paint is on Page 195 of the IBC (Idea Book and Catalog). It comes in three different types - Champagne Mist, Frost White and Platinum. I find the Champagne Mist the best one for this spray!

Shimmer Mist How to!

Also today I received a beautiful card in the mail from my upline Kay Smith in St. John's.  Here is a pic for you.
She used my Favorite set " Just Believe", Rose Red, Certainly Celery and Whisper White card stock.  A little bit of Dazzling Diamonds and a rhinestone for bling.  I love it.
But the best part was inside.  Yes thanks to all of my good friends I am #1 again last month.  Thank you all so much for your support!
Well that's it for today folks (reminds me of Loony Toons) bdatt datt datt's That's all folks!  hahaha

Nature walk and new video

Spent the afternoon doing a simple card for you and a new video.  Still needing some practice but I am going to try a new camera and see if that will make it easier.  Today's card is made using the new Nature Walk stamp set from the Occasions Mini.
The dimensions for this card are 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

And now for the video
Well that's it for me.  Hug and inky kisses!

Welcome Stampers to my very first video tutorial.  I had fun making this one and while it is not up to the same quality as some I have seen, in my humble opinion it's not too bad.  I have some things I need to change and I am sure I will get better as  time goes on.  I must have done this video at least 10 times before I finally got one I was satisfied with.  lol.

The measurements for the card are
Baja Breeze card stock cut at 4 1/4" X 11 and scored at 5 1/2"
Perfect plum card stock cut at 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"
Whisper White card stock cut at 2 1/2" x 4"

well that's it for today folks,  stay tuned for more (I hope)
Inky hugs
