My little Surprise!

Good day Inky People!

Monday again!  I used to hate Mondays but now don't mind them at all. lol  Sorry, since I retired to do this full time I have trouble with wiping the smile off my face and remembering not to gloat!

Yesterday's class was a hit with the ladies and we all had such a good time.  Lots of laughing and lots of head scratching when it came to the cuts and folds.  Some of the head scratching was done by me.  Yeah I was trying to figure out what one lady had done and for some reason it wouldn't make sense.  One of my other stampers took it and poof it folded perfectly.  She said it was because I was a good teacher that she was able to do this.  I think it was because she was smarter than me at the time! hahaha  Thanks Christine!

So what was the surprise for my stampers yesterday?  Well a lot of demonstrators hold classes and one of the class names that is very popular is "Chics and Chocolate".   You come to a class so you're the "Chic" and the demonstrator provides the "Chocolate".

Well I did my own version of "Chics and Chocolate".  Have a Look  -

Aren't they cute?  The ladies loved them and the chocolate!

The punches I used were - wide oval punch, scallop circle punch, small heart punch, smallest heart from the owl punch, five blossom punch and Designer label punch.  I used Calypso Coral for the feet and head and Daffodile Delight for the beak.  I sponged with Daffodile Delight lightly around the wings and beak.  I made the eyes with a Basic Black Marker.  I used lollypop sticks but I shaved off a lot of the roundness at the top to have it fit on the chick,  on the back I just stuck another oval to cover up the stick.  Turned out cute.

Probably should have added a banner but at 11:00pm the night before when inspiration struck apparently it didn't extend to that so ...

Heading out of town today for a class in Stehpenville so will chat with you all later.

Punchy hugs!
