Well I am gratified to say my New Catalog Launch Party was a huge success!  I would like to thank the ladies who came to pick up their new copy of the Stampin' Up! 2012 - 2013 catalog and stayed to play!

Food was consumed, Make and takes were done and everyone seemed to have a good time.  I know that I did.

I have some pictures of the cupcakes and a wall decoration that I did for the party.  I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to decorate but the house still  looked festive!

These are super easy and fun to make and look so spring like when placed on the walls.  Love it!

This is a picture of the cupcakes with the Pinwheel toothpicks.  I used a square of 2" x 2" Designer paper.  This will work with any square of paper.  The ones on the wall were 6" x 6". 

 First you score from corner to corner diagonally.  Then you cut on the score lines almost to the middle.  Then you just fold one corner to the middle and continue until all four corners are folded to the middle.  I used a paper piercer to put a hole in middle and a brad to secure the folds. 

I used a 3/4" Circle punch and punched a circle of matching DSP.  I added some sticky strip to the circle and added a toothpick and then attached it to the back of the Pinwheel, covering the brad in the back of the Pinwheel. 

These cupcakes were Chocolate with Chocolate Hazelnut cream filling with Chocolate icing.  Yummy!!!!

These ones were Chocolate Mint!  Also very Yummy!
