A Blueberry Birthday!

Hi everyone!

It's the Blog Hogger, aka Kathy's sister, coming to you with another card. This one also features the Simply Sketched stamp set. I love, love, love getting new product from Stampin' Up and just have to play with it right away! :)

This is a very simple card that, in my opinion, personifies sunny, summer days. Take a look and see what you think:

As you can tell from the background, it is a miserable, rainy day! lol  Actually, that's what the forecast was calling for, so it was a delightful surprise to wake up to such a beautiful day!

And now on to the card information;

  • Cardstock: Whisper White & Pacific Point
  • Ink: Stazon Black for the image and the sentiment, the leaves were colored using Pear Pizzazz & Old Olive, the berries were colored using Pacific Point
  • Accessories: Blender pen was used to color the image, Pacific Point marker & ruler (used the fine tip to make the line around the outside)
  • Details: The Pacific Point card backing was cut at 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4". The Whisper White panel was cut at 5 3/8" x 4 1/8". (Pacific Point is such a rich color, I didn't want it to overwhelm the main panel so made sure only a very small amount was showing.)

Beautiful sunny hugs,
Colleen
