Shhh! Don't Tell!

Good day everyone!

I had a quick make up class last night for a couple of stampers that due to reasons beyond their control missed the last class.  Well I have to tell you, we had a blast in my craft room.

They got their cards done and had a good laugh for themselves.  Colleen called during this class to gloat over my birthday card.  Of course she won't show it to me until May 12th but rest assured she will be getting a big kick out of teasing me.  Sisters!!!!

So  the title says don't tell!  Reason - I am posting my DD b-day card.  Her birthday is on the 19th, one week after mine.  I had some inspiration from ones I had seen on the net and modified the design to work for me.

Have a look -

I used the Big Shot to cut out the numbers and also used some contraband, retired Night and Day Designer Paper that I purchased for the wedding and have been hoarding to use in the wedding scrapbook.  I got the idea for the blue ribbon from a card I saw on the net.

Here is a close up of the jewels on the dog's collars and the cute dachshund that I colored and popped up with dimensionals.

I purchased "Not So Seriously" last year for this reason only.  My DD has a miniature dachshund named Dasch, and this image just screamed Carrie, so I purchased it and now, finally ,after a full year, get the chance to send her a card using this image.  Whew, It's so hard for me to keep a secret.  lol.,

Well that`s it for me today!  Have a good evening and only three days to go to Mother`s Day!

Don`t forget that I also offer gift certificates, suitable for gift giving,  for any amount.  It could be the perfect gift for the crafter in your life.

You`re Number 1 with me hugs!

  1. Hi Katherine... love the card. Especially Dasch. I work with Carrie (and no I won't tell her about the card, I'll keep your secret) and have met Dasch, he is a real little cutie.

    Take care

    1. Hi Lynn, thank you so much for your comment. When she get#s the card I#m sure she will show it to you. So much prettier IRL. And yes he is a cutie. I can#t wait to see both of them in July.
