Relaxation Tuesday!

Hello Tuesday Stampers!

I am in relaxation mode today - or at least I will be in a couple of hours.  My good friend Sharon gave me a Spa gift certificate for Christmas and today we are going to get a pedicure and a facial.

I am so stoked!  Sharon's birthday was last week and I didn't get to see her then, so today I will be giving her a B-day present.  Of course parts of it are hand made with love.

What does all this blather mean to you?  It means a new project that I can finally post.  A Birthday card and a simply stunning box!  Oh, I can't wait to show you this one!  I worked hard on it and used some of my new favorite things.  The flower trim and the small butterfly punch.  Want a look?

Here you go -

I totally cased this card off the net, but I did use it as a jumping off  point for my box.  I wanted to go with a theme.  Can you guess?  Butterflies and soft and girly?  I think I nailed it!  I used Very Vanilla for my base and top to bottom is Very Vanilla , Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink and Primrose Petals. (say that fast if you can.)  I used the large butterfly punch and the large pearl for the accent.  I embossed the Happy Birthday in White embossing powder.

This is the top of the box.  I used a Kraft box and for the flowers, the new flower trim.  I sponged the lighter ones with pretty in pink ink and the darker ones were sprayed with a spritzer filled with Regal Rose re-inker and rubbing alcohol.  I love the softness of this look.  I added some leaves cut out with the Bird Builder punch and sponged them with Gumball Green ink as I used the same color card stock.  I added a few stems and some ribbon and then I punched out a smaller butterfly using the new punch from the Spring mini.  I added a few pearls and POW pretty!

This is the side of the box.  I once again used the leaves from Bird Builder punch and the large butterfly punch and the smaller punch and sponged around the butterfly with Regal Rose.  The card stock is Very Vanilla and I sponged with Soft Suede.  This was done on all four sides.  I absolutely love the look.  Now I don't want to give it away!  lol.

And a final look at the whole box.

So grabbing some lunch and heading to the Spa!

Pretty in Pink hugs!
