You Brighten My Day!

Hello there Everyone!

I love the name of one of the Sale A Bration stamp sets.  Can you guess which one it is?  (clue is in the title of this post)!

Yes I love this set there are so many cute stamps in the set and Yay it matches several of the SU punches.  So most of the work is done for you lol.

I have a niece who just moved into her very own apartment!  This is her first time out of the family home and I would like to congratulate her on this rite of passage into adult hood.  So I inked up my stamps and here is what I came up with.

I used the cute little house in the set and I masked to get the overlapping look.  The first house you stamp is the one on the right on the first row.  Yeah I know crazy huh?  But after you stamp that house you stamp another house on Post it Notes and cut it out and apply it to the house you just stamped.  Make sense?  Anyway then you can stamp the house behind and when you remove the mask you have the look I achieved here.  Sweet right?

I stamped the pink house on Strawberry Slush card stock and embossed it with White embossing powder.  I used dimensionals to pop it up on the card.  I used the flower punch from itty bitty punch pack and the hearts are on Dazzling Details glimmer paper and cut out with the hearts border punch.  If you look closer you will see that I "free handed" the little swirl in Garden green.  I used a small heart for the flower center.  I love how cheerful this turned out.  I hope she likes it.

Well that's my share for today!  Slushy hugs!

I started my own blog last month and I've been checking out other's blogs for ideas. I'd love the have your feed back and help in developing my blog. You have some neat features I'd love to have on my blog. You can check it out here - http://stampinwithjac.blogspot.ca
