Mystery Hostess Contest Winners

Good day Stampers!  Well it's Friday and the weekend is coming.  Calling for Rain here the whole weekend so maybe I will get some crafting done. lol.  Or maybe not, I am thinking about going to Stephenville for the Port aux Port Fair with my sister.  A day off doing fun stuff sounds like, well, fun.  So we will see won't we?

I want to extend Congratulations to Kristin Sweet and Lisa Payne for winning the Mystery Hostess Contest. They are the lucky ladies who get to choose $20.00 worth of product out of either the new IBC or the Holiday Mini.  Yay for you!

Don't forget every one, I am now booking classes and workshops for the next two months.   Dates fill quickly so if you are interested contact me ASAP!  Also if you want to see what classes I am offering please check out my Stampin' Up! website here.

Oh and my photo share today is this beautiful tea bag holder.  Great to give someone who is under the weather or just to give a friend who enjoys tea.

Opened up to see the inside!

Of course I used the Four Frames stamp set, Fabulous Florets and the new Paisley Prints Designer Series Paper to decorate along with the Top Note die.  Found this design on the web and totally cased it.  I am thinking about turning it into a gift card holder also so stay tuned for that.  I will be needing gift certificate holders for Christmas as many of the husbands come looking early in December for ideas for their wives.  This is probably the only time in the year the hubby's actually like me.  I tell all my ladies that women love me but husbands fear me! hahaha...
So have a great weekend - generous hugs!

More Shares Of Open House

Good Day Ladies!  Well to say the last couple of days have been hectic would be an understatement!  If I had a full time job now as well as SU I would be in a puddle on the floor somewhere.  I have been gutting my craft room and throwing away some items that are not working anymore.  You have to do that every now and then don't you?  The garbage man probably strained his back this morning.  (and I am only half way around the room lol)

I know I promised you a photo tutorial but well I didn't get that done.  So please forgive me.  But I do have some more shares of the Open House to show you.  Some really cute projects that I did to display.  Here they are.

This one is a pair of slippers that you hang on the tree.  They are made from the Pillow die and have an opening at the top for a money gift.

Keeping up with my theme of flowers and Butterflies, this watering can fits right in.  I used Paisley Prints DSP for this one.

Trying to show the versatility of my Petal cone die for the Big Shot.  This is a little box made to look like a cupcake holder.  Cased this one cause it was too cute not to try.

Ok totally LOVE the new punch that matches the Stitched Stocking stamp set.  I just punched out the stockings using the new Holly Berry DSP and easy peasy a cute card.

This is a little flower card with an umbrella.  Cute for a shower and I made it out of Black card stock cause I have so many scraps of black and red left over from DD's wedding that it's not funny. lol

Another stamp set that I totally fell in love with.  Snow much fun!  You will be seeing lots more with this stamp set for sure.  Everyone loves Snowmen don't they?

Another Die cut box in Red this time.  Love the little guy!

I used the Petal Cone Die and the Fun Flowers die to create this little cutie.  Sponged the flowers and used Old Olive card stock to make the grass.

So ladies even though there is no photo tutorial I still have lots of ideas for you to look at.  Thanks for dropping by today, I really enjoy your company!  Spring Cleaning Hugs (in the fall)!!

Winners and More Open House pic's

Good day Inky People!  After a very hectic weekend I am working hard today to clean up my house from both the Fair and the guests at the Open Houses.  I had soooo much fun!  It was a lot of work but so worth it to see everyone and show off display all my hard work. lol.

Today's post is to let everyone know the winners of  the Open House Prizes.

I had quite a few ladies over the last couple of days and I took names and gave them random numbers on a piece of paper.  Drum Roll please - - -

The winner of the first stamp set is -  - Alicia Lowes
The second winner of a stamp set is -  - Amanda Barnes.

The winners of a package of assorted Designer Paper are -  - Christine Simms and  Debbie Mayo.

The winner of a package of 5 beautiful (if I do say so myself) Christmas Cards is Colleen Boland.

These names were drawn by my Darling Hubby so you have to thank him for picking your numbers.

Now for my share of the decorations and displays for the Craft fair and Open house!

OK I know that you have seen all the wedding stuff but the general public has not so I set up a little display at the Craft Fair.  Lots of interest in this display from the ladies, young and old!

The make and take area at the craft fair.  The ladies certainly had fun making a card and chatting about this wonderful craft.
Took some Paper Lanterns and made them SU with the in color butterflies.  Hung these in a corner in the living room.  Very Pretty.!!
Went over board on the Tissue Flowers but hey they were a definite hit and made the room look really festive and bright.

Display of New Holiday Mini product and my Business information board.
Page one of Punch Art my Sister produced for the Open House.  She wasn't so fussy about the owl punch but has definitely changed her tune.  Now she sees the possibilities!  Whoo'd have thunk it?
Punch Art Page #2 using the Ornament Punch that my sister Colleen brought to display.  Excellent use of the punches.

Day of Gratitude set includes two cards, a sleeve for candy, a note card and a simple scrapbook page.

So thank you for sticking with me and having a look at this rather looong post.  I have to unpack from all the events but hopefully I will be able to post a photo tutorial in a day or so!  So keep smiling and stamping!Exhausted hugs!

Open House Decorations

Good day Stampers!  Yesterday's Open House was a resounding success, I had numerous ladies drop by and make some cards, eat some cake and assorted goodies and chat the afternoon away.  Today I want to share the decorations I did and some of the displays.  I will post more tomorrow.  That's if you are interested lol.

This is the Banner I created (no pun intended) for the beam between my dining room and kitchen.  click on the pic for a closer look.
I have a theme going on, can you guess?  Right on butterflies and flowers.  This is the living room wall done in all the current in colors.  I may even leave this one up for awhile cause it's so purty.!!
I did Tissue flowers and they were everywhere.  Also this mobile is made with the Petal Cone die for the big shot and so are the butterflies.  Would make a really nice mobile for a child's room.
Tomorrow I will post some more pic's of the Craft Fair and Open House.  Hope you enjoyed looking.

Oh one more thing before I go the Winner of the Craft Fair Door Prize was Kay Wheeler.  Kay dropped by yesterday and got to make a couple of cards and have a chat and a lunch and pick up her prize.  So nice to meet you Kay!

Well that's it for today ladies, Butterfly Hugs!
