Week Five And Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Only one more sleep until I get to go nuts under the tree!  Hope Santa is good to me this year.  I have been naughty and nice. lol.

I have good new for you all.  I just got my new goodies from Stampin' Up!  Yay!!!  These are pre-order items from the up coming Mini and Sale a Bration Catalogs.  The Mini goes live on Jan 4th and holds some really nice Big Shot accessories.  I can't wait to try these babies out!!

I will try to post a couple of new cards (not Xmas cards) in a day or so.  Of course with Christmas so close I am not too sure how much time I will actually have to play.  But rest assured as soon as Christmas dinner is done and the presents opened I am going to be playing with my new product.  Well maybe not Christmas Day but soon after.  I have a plan to have a nap Christmas Day, we will see how that goes.

Thank you Colleen for the wonderful post.  I never knew about Talebearers Thursday!  But if there is a tall tale to tell you are the girl.  I remember some of the whoppers you used to tell to get out of doing housework or errands when we were kids.  You were so tricky!

I am going to share week 5 of my 12 Weeks of Christmas contest.

I used the Sounding Joy stamp set and also Bells and Boughs.  I really love the Bells and Boughs but unfortunately this year it really didn't get much use.  I needed quick cards for Stamp a Stacks and this set requires a lot of coloring.  I find coloring very relaxing but unfortunately it takes time and that was something I didn't have.  So next year I am going to start earlier.  Maybe April hahaha!

Your joke for today!

From one fruitcake to another Hugs!

Look What I made today!!!

Wow only a couple of days and this madness will be over for another year!  Can't believe how fast time has gone.  I am almost done, just have to thaw out my turkey and get the groceries.  We have family for dinner Christmas day and I have a lot of cooking to do.  We have a tradition - I cook and they clean.  I HATE dishes.  Always have, always will!

I was on the web last night and came across a cute idea for mason jars.  I didn't have what they put in the jars but you know me I improvised.  Today I made these cuties for my Christmas table.  How stinking cute are they?  I added some of the Stampin' Up! Fabric cause I just can't let it be without adding a SU element!  Yes I am focused ( I like to call it focused but others may have another name - obsessed!)

Lookeee!!!!

I have tons of Mason Jars and I have a Christmas Village (which won't get set up this year due to Hubby working soooo much) and lots of accessories for same.  So I borrowed some trees and glued them to Votive holders and some Brushed silver card stock to give it height and then added some of the crystals that we used at the wedding.  I love it when I can re purpose items!  Then I tore strips of Stampin' Up! fabric and just tied it in a simple knot to cover up the lids.  It looks so primitive and creative.  And it only took about 30 min to do (mostly because I had to figure out a way to prop up the trees :O)  So what do you think???

Here's a fast share today.  Here is Week four!

I used Sounding Joy for this card.  Also used the new Pewter embossing powder and the five petal punch for the flower on the side.   Simple but elegant.

Here is your joke for today!

Really pleased with myself hugs!

Pick a Card, Pick any Card!

Happy Hump Day Everyone!  Well the work week is almost over for those of you who have to go to a full time job with a boss but for me, I work when I want!  haha.  For me every day is a play day!  I love my job so much!  OK that's enough bragging.

Over the last couple of days I have been busy taking bookings for SAS"s.  For those of you new to stamping this is the acronym for Stamp A Stack's.  A class where you stamp 10 cards in a matter of hours.  Two each of five different designs.  I call these my "get er' done" classes for all of us Newf's.

So today I have my first Five cards to share with you.  This is SAS number 1 - Please remember that the pic's don't do them justice!  They are go-jus IRL (this is just to irritate my sister, Colleen who hates it when I do this) in real life. :O) (sometimes we never grow up)

Card number 1 - Soft Suede and Tempting Turquoise, Stamp sets Delightful Decorations and Snow Swirled.

Card number 2 - Real Red and Old Olive, Retired set Northern Hearts and Four the Season,

This one just makes me smile! Card number 3 - Crumb Cake, Real Red, Early Espresso.  Stamp set Holiday Lineup, retired wheel.

Card Number 4 ~ Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler.  Stamp set Peaceful Season - Retired

Card Number 5 ~ Confetti White, Soft Suede and Certainly Celery.  Stamp Set - The Sounding Joy!

So that's SAS number 1!  What do you think?  Simple to re-create but elegant to give.  Just the note I was looking for.

Don't forget ladies that you only have until the end of Oct. to join my team and take advantage of the Free Big Shot! offer that Stampin' Up is giving to anyone who signs up to be a demonstrator.  If you want flexible hours, Extra money, a chance to meet new and wonderful people and also a chance to be creative then contact me for more information on starting your own business and bring some Joy into your life.  I know it changed my life for the better.   Click here to check out this amazing offer.

I'll be back tomorrow with 5 more new cards.  Stay tuned!  Classy Hugs!
