Today I am happy! I am mostly happy all the time but right now I am over the moon. My Angel will be arriving on Friday and staying with us for a month.
She is getting so big and I can't wait to see the changes since last time. But that's not the only reason I am happy! No siree! We are mostly finished camping and I can get back to my craft room and get some crafting done to blog about.
Today I was fooling around and decided to make a Christmas Card. Yes, I know, we don't want to say the C word at this time of the year but when you have a business, well, you kinda hafta keep ahead of the seasons.
I took a non traditional set and worked some magic. Would you like to see it? Well here you go then!
I inked up one of the branches frome Serene Silhouettes with a Smoky Slate marker and stamped randomly on Whisper White Card stock. I repeated this pattern across the panel. I then added a couple of Smoky Slate birds also colored with a marker and then stamped on the branches.
I then inked up another branch with a Cherry Cobbler marker and stamped over the other branches. I adhered it to the Cherry Cobbler card stock with Tombow glue. Then I added a little Dazzling Diamonds to some of the branches and a Cherry Cobbler greeting and it was done.
I realize that this is early but I usually have to do quite a few cards so I need to start early. I will be hosting an early Christmas card class in Sept. so check my website (the link is on the left hand side of the page) for more details.
Hugs for all seasons!
Card is gorgeous... but I don't see the details of a class in Sept... Do tell...LOL
